We supply reports as comma-separated-values CSV files. These can easily be imported into MS Excel using the following steps.
Step 1: After you have downloaded a report (see the following articles to find out how), unzip it using an archive tool – we recommend the excellent and free 7-Zip.
Step 2: Open Excel and create a new file.
Step 3: Click through to the data tab on the navigation ribbon, then click From Text.
Step 4: Navigate to the folder holding your report files, select the one you want, and click Import.
Step 5: This pop-up may look intimidating, but it's really quite straightforward. First, make sure the delimited radio box is checked, then click Next.
Step 6: Untick the tab checkbox, then tick the Comma checkbox. Now click Next.
Step 7: Make sure General is selected, and click Finish.
Step 8: Finally, simply click OK. Your CSV file should import cleanly into your new Excel spreadsheet. Be sure to save this file as an Excel document, or you'll have to import again.
