Step 1: Sign into ZaiCommunicator with your ZaiLab log-in details.
Step 2: Get familiar with the extension's layout. At the top of the screen you'll see your name, break code, and whether you're currently available to receive interactions. The middle section is where you make calls. You can attach your ZaiCommunicator to a call flow at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Set your availability status. In the example below, the agent is on a lunch break and not ready to receive any interactions. You can toggle between not-ready and ready by clicking the yellow menu item. Select a break code from drop-down menu.
Step 4: To set the extension to the correct call flow, click the drop-down arrow located at the bottom of your web phone. Select the flow you'll be using when making an outbound call. (If you're not sure which flow to select, chat to your team leader or administrator.)
Step 5: To make an outbound call, type the number in the number section highlighted in the screenshot below. You can also view previous calls by clicking the drop-down arrow.
Step 6: Once you’ve entered the number, click the green phone icon at the bottom of the extension to start the call. Click the red phone icon to end the call.
Step 6: The call will display in the Calls section of the extension.
Step 7: To mute or place a call on hold, click the On Mute or On Hold icons as shown below.
Step 8: To transfer a call, click the Transfer icon, as shown below.
The extension will indicate when a transfer has been started. Type in the extension number you're looking for and click the tick mark icon to complete the transfer. To cancel the transfer, click on the cross icon.
Step 9: To sign out of ZaiCommunicator, click the burger menu on the top right-hand side of your screen.
