How to install and setup Grandstream Wave
Go to the Google App Store and search for Grandstream Wave, once you have found the application select the install button.
Once installed select “open”.
GS Wave will then ask you to accept certain permissions, ensure you select “yes” on these permissions.
If you do not accept the permissions the application may not work as intended.
After all the permissions have been accepted, GS Wave will take you to your “keypad” view, select “settings” at the bottom right-hand side of the view.
Once on the settings view, select account settings. As this is the first time setting up GS Wave you will have no profiles under account settings. You will need to select the Plus (+) symbol on the top right to add your account details to GS Wave.
Once at the “Add New Account” view select “SIP Account”
You will be asked to provide the following information:
- Account Name
- SIP Server
- SIP UserID
- SIP Authentication ID
- Password
- Voicemail UserID
- Display Name
Under the following sections you will need to input your Device name:
- Account Name
- SIP UserID
- SIP Authentication ID
Under the SIP Server section you will need to input the following:
sip.zailab.com
And under Password, you will need to put the password provided to you.
The Device and password, you can find on your “Edit Profile” view on your dashboard
Once you have input the above-mentioned information, simply select the tick symbol on the top right.
It may take a moment or two for the red dot next to the account name to turn green, but once it has you will be able to make and receive phone calls via Grandstream Wave on your cell phone
