The Pattern Menu Node
The Pattern Menu node is set up in the inbound call flow by Administrators.
This node will allow a client to input valuable information such as:
- Account numbers
- ID numbers
The Pattern menu node can be used in collaboration with other nodes such as:
- Api Call node
- Decision node
- Play text message node
As well as the “Additional Information” feature
Setting Up the Pattern Menu Node
Step 1: Click on the 3 dots located next to the node name to edit the node
Step 2: Give the node a name and a Variable name.
Step 3: Select from the available audio or create/upload a new audio file for the pattern menu node. This audio will inform the client of what actions need to be taken (such as what numbers you expect the client to input).
Step 4: Define the keypad input type.
- Fixed - Callers will need to press a predetermined number of digits, once the number of inputs is met the call will continue to the next step.
- Keypress - There is no predetermined number of digits, instead the caller will need to indicate the end of their input by either pressing the Hash (#) or Star(*) keys.
Step 5: Select “Finished” to save the changes to your Pattern Menu
