You can add an announcement in the waiting room for your customers to listen to while waiting for the next available agent. You can also set the number of seconds to pass before the message plays.
The below steps will show you how to do this.
1. First, you need to create an Audio file for your announcement.
2. While creating a work flow and you reach the part where you edit the Waiting Room, you will see the Announcements option. Select yes where it says “ Would you like to configure Announcements to play while the customer is waiting?” and add the Audio file you created earlier. Now you just select the number of seconds you would like it to take to loop back to the audio and select next to continue configuring your waiting room alternatively select finish if it is an existing waiting room already in use.
