The agent dashboard has a sound effect toggle feature which enables the agent to toggle all sound effects made by the platform to on or off by clicking on the speaker icon as below.
When the sound is on, the icon will look the below:
When the sound is off, the icon will look like the below:
This will only affect systems sound made when an agent receives the following types of interactions:
- Instant Message
This will also affect an agent's ability to hear the “not responding” audio alarm.
*imp - disabling the dashboard sound effects will not affect an agent's ability to hear clients on calls.
